what happens when an air conditioner condensate line clogs? what kinda professional do i call if it is?

i have a wet carpet that has been eating through towels for a couple of months now in a certain area of my house, and only in a certain area in my house. i have a central air conditioner and only a one story house.
this has been going on for a few months now and i know mold is there.

i’ve tried my hand at drying the carpet and to my dismay, it soaks up again the next day.

with extensive amounts of Google searches, after suspecting that the mold is catching up to my cough that could progressively amplify, i suspect that it may be a Air Conditioner Condensation Line drip.

i watched that video of the professional guy and it might be it.

and,

what kind of professional do I call about fixing a condensation line. A plumber?

and

who would I call about getting rid of the mold?
The wet carpet leak is adjacent with the bathroom (door), so I’m assuming it would be rather moist I’m 100% positive that the wet carpet isn’t the restroom (putting that out there so as it isn’t brought up as a possible cause).

But I do need to know, if anybody might know if it is coming from the FLOOR or the CEILING ?, because if it would be a condensation clog, wouldn’t it come from the ceiling?

Rescue Your House From The Effects Of Damp

It can be a tricky balancing act to keep the moisture level of a home clear of excess water vapour in the air. Some particular parts of a house like the basement are more prone than others to clinging on to excess water in the air. Excess moisture in the air can give rise to a general damp feel in the house and in extreme situations it can harm the structural integrity of the building. Air dehumidifiers can help with this.

making use of a dehumidifier will help the extraction of surplus moisture from the air by drawing warm air through two coils in the same manner as an air conditioner and then removing surplus moisture. A special drainage system that is attached to the rear of the home dehumidifier gathers the moisture and can be changed at any time. Removal of excess moisture is very effective at preventing the growth of mildew and mold.

Water water vapour on the inside of windows, wet patches on the ceilings or walls, a musty odor or an increase in allergic reactions within the house are all indicators that you could do with using a home dehumidifier.

If you are considering purchasing a dehumidifier then it is important to get one that is large enough to do the job properly. A more powerful deumidifier will be needed for larger areas such as basements. Ensure that you are aware of exactly the amount of water it can hold by checking the capacity before buying. Obviously the larger the water carrying capacity of the dehumidifier the less time you will spend emptying it. Of course make sure that any pipes leading from the machine are not put anywhere near electrical cables just in case it leaks.

Placement of the dehumidifier is yet another further factor to take into account. Are should be taken not to place a machine running against a wall if it will block the air vent, this will prevent healthy circualtion of the air. Doors and windows ought to be shut whilst the dehumidifier is running to maximise its efficiency.

Finally, ensure that you shop around for the best price. Shop around to make the most of the great deals that are on offer for the ever increasing number of dehumidifiers that are available. Home dehumidifiers particularly ebac dehumidifiers are certainly a worthy investment.
