Talking To A Woman For The First Time: Are You Seeing Anyone?

When we speak about "how to meet women" and "men and relationships", the initial conversation with a girl is an area I frequently get queries about. For example, what do you do if you have a great initial interaction with someone you are fascinated by only to find out that she is already relating to someone? Should you basically start off each conversation with "Are you seeing someone?"

In my opinion, I will certainly not ask a woman about her dating state. It shows a lack of confidence to do so. But, I read signals and flirt a little to see how they act in response. Also simply because someone is "seeing" someone doesn't imply they are in a committed relationship and aren't attracted to meeting you.

Watch the signals that a woman shows you in a discussion. Is she just being respectful talking to you or is she really keen on you? If she is in a relationship she will probably talk to you but won't make an effort to build any future with you (see you a second time). She might be a little standoffish and get much more so when you attempt to flirt.

If a woman is really interested in you she will flirt back and give you a few hints that she wants to see you once again. She will suggest doing something or meeting or talking or getting together. She will indicate how she really enjoyed talking to you, at which time, you could state that you should talk again or some more and ask for her phone number.

If you are very observant you can figure out very quickly if a woman is flirting with you or if she is simply being polite. Now if she is interested in you, and you show confidence enough to not ask if she is seeing someone, you will usually score a few points with her.
