Heat Cool and Insulate

Yesterday I started insulating the attic. What fun!!! As my home inspector said - it has some insulation, less than adequate – so that is where i begin my quest of lower energy bills.

I started out with as much R-30 insulation as I could fit in my van. It should cover 30-40 percent of the attic space. When I got up in the attic I noticed quite a bit of frost on the underside of the roof. It was around 16 yesterday morning. Another  trip to the store to get plastic sheeting to provide a vapor barrier.
