What is the most ecconomic heating system?

by Jeff on May 1, 2010

I need to know which one is the most ecconomic heating system for one room. Because my house’s central heating is not warm enough. I have Oil heater but it costs electricity a lot which made breaker down some times before.

Why is the central heat system not good enough? You should probably have your furnace inspected. And an oil heater that cost electricity? I’m not understanding that one.

Anyway, if it’s just one room buy a small electric space heater. In the winter I set my central(gas) heat to 58 so it’s cold, but I use a space heater in my bathroom for when I shower and poop, and I bring it in to whatever room I’m using at the time. When I’m on my pc I bring it into my pc room, when in my bedroom I bring it there. Depending on what part of the country you’re in the gas/electricity cost can be much different. Where I am gas is always dramatically more expensive than electric so I set the furnace low and use my space heater.

Here is a link to a more expensive one but at any large home outlet store you can find a good space heater for less than $50.

The most economic heating system = rubbing your hands together very quickly.

The heat is the same in all rooms unless you have a register closed. Put on more clothes.
