Do you have Geothermal Heating? If so, do you like it?

Author: My husband and I are looking at a house with Geothermal Heating. It was originally a beautiful home, but the previous owners neglected it and damaged the inside. It has a private pond and an ugly yard fountain, which I would want to tear out – however we were just told it has something to do with the heating. The house also has a wood burning stove. Is the Geothermal not sufficient enough to keep the house warm? I am not a woodburning stove fan. How do you like your Geothermal system? Does it keep your house warm?

Can anyone tell me how they like the geothermal heating for their house?
We are very seriously considering making this investment to help cut our heating bills. We use propane now. Please let me know of any pluses or minuses you may have experienced. Thank you

How much would a geothermal heating system cost?
How much would it cost to set up geothermal for a single home. I know it can very but if you have any numbers at all that would be great and the sq. footage of the house.

Are Geothermal Heating Systems cheaper than forced air furnaces?
I recently moved and the house has a geothermal heating system. I got it serviced and was told it is supposed to be extremely efficient but my Hydro bill is 0 to 0 per month! How is that efficient? Has anyone had the same problem? Should I change the system to forced air? Why is it so high?
