We have an air conditioner and the air conditioner has not been used in six yrs because we moved. We came back and the freon had evaportated out and we had some more put in September and again in April The fan blows and air comes out the vents. There are ant piles near it. Could the ants have gotten into it and stopped it for working? Also the pipe outside freezes up and so does the one inside. What could the problem be?

Almost certainly you have a refrigerant leak. The company who charged the refrigerant should have and can check for leaks. I would suggest a different company come out and check for and repair any leaks and recharge your system. The freezing is almost certainly low refrigerant charge.
